Full Job Description

TheTechnology Divisionis looking for an experiencedProduct Ownerto join our team. AsaProduct Owner, you will report to the Manager ofaProduct Managementand promote technology outcomes to meet the needs and expectations of our business partners. In your role, you will foster dialogue and communication between multiple partners and technical experts, encourage collaboration amongst Agile teama membersand lead Agile team planning. Additionally, you will oversee requirements gathering and capture of user stories,amaintaina prioritized backlog, and guide sprint and release planning.

You will report directly to aamanageraand work with a team that values innovation, independence of views and a diverse and inclusive working environment.a

Responsibilities

  • Work withabusiness andaTechnologyapartners to develop inspiring product visions, derived from business needs into product roadmaps that are in alignment with business and IT strategies.

  • Interpret requirements, write user storiesaand work with technical teams, developers, business analysts, UX and internal constituents toadeterminea the details.

  • Be the voice of the business customer,aidentifyinga gaps and opportunities for new capabilities, manages backlog, andaprioritizinga work within sprints.

  • Partner withascrum master and technical teams toaparticipatea in agile ceremonies (sprint demos, retrospectives, sprint planning).

  • Make use of release reviews, useratesting,auserafeedback, operationalaand performanceametrics, and analysis toaidentifya and understandacustomera needs for products.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with relevantastakeholders.a

  • Exhibitsaexpertiseawithin products92 feature areas and coordinates with interdependent teams to provide product support.a

  • Coordinate release activities andamonitora product performance,aadoptiona and operational health.a

  • Manage product documentation.a

  • Participate in testing as needed.

  • Support overall activities and responsibilities of Product Management team.a

Qualifications

  • Bachelor92 degree oracommensuratea experience.a

  • 3+ayears92arelevant experienceaas a product owner within an agile team environment.a

  • Familiarity with Kanbanaor ScrumaAgile methodologies.a

  • Mustaexhibitastrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style and can share technical ideas and approaches with others.

  • Experience usingaJiraais a plus.a

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus.

  • Travel (5%)

  • Lesser experience can be considered foralower levelarolea
