What You'll DoDrive Product Strategy - Partner with Product Management and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into a clear product roadmap and actionable user journeys that solve real customer challenges.
- Balance immediate business needs with long-term product evolution while identifying opportunities through customer feedback, market trends, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted advocate for the product, confidently communicating direction, priorities, and value to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead Agile Delivery - Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria that keep development teams positioned for success.
- Establish release, PI, and sprint priorities while removing obstacles and maintaining alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to deliver high-quality product increments that improve customer outcomes and business value.
Build Strong Partnerships - Serve as the primary connection between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and successful outcomes.
- Validate delivered functionality against business requirements while championing intuitive, customer-centered experiences.
- Use product performance metrics, analytics, customer insights, and evolving technology trends to continuously refine priorities and inform future development.
What You Bring - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 plus years of Product Owner or Product Management experience with demonstrated success in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in insurance technology or enterprise software with the ability to understand complex business processes and customer needs.
- Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into product roadmaps, user stories, and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong product backlog management skills with experience prioritizing work based on customer value, ROI, and technical feasibility.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence technical teams, customers, and senior business leaders.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data and customer feedback to drive product decisions.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, curiosity, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, global environment while leading through influence rather than authority.
Bonus Points For - Deep domain expertise in Disability Claims or Life, Health & Annuity (LHA) insurance products, claims operations, and business processes.
