About the Opportunity:
The Adventure Ahead

As our Product Owner for Course Management, you play a key role in turning product strategy into reliable, usable, and performant experiences for Docebo customers and internal teams. You will own the tactical execution for Courses, Learning Plans, and Certifications, focusing on the high-scale infrastructure essential for the reliability and adoption of our core products. Your mission is to translate complex customer problems into robust capabilities that power the learning architecture for large enterprise organizations.

The Day-to-Day
  • Master the Backlog: Own and prioritize the squad backlog for Course Management, Learning Plans, and Certifications to ensure total alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Architect the Requirements: Translate complex problems into clear user stories and functional specifications that are easy for Engineering and QA to validate.
  • Drive Predictable Delivery: Partner with Engineering leads to scope work and balance new features with technical debt to ensure commitments are realistic and visible.
  • Optimize Feature Adoption: Define success metrics and monitor product analytics to understand how admins and learners interact with your domain.
  • Safeguard Platform Reliability: Track error rates and response times to address regressions, incidents, and performance hotspots in your owned area.
  • Serve as Technical Lead: Act as the first-line product contact for internal teams, triaging issues and translating recurring problems into backlog work.
  • Orchestrate Release Readiness: Coordinate with cross-functional partners on documentation, enablement, and incremental rollout plans for all domain changes.
  • Fuel Product Discovery: Participate in problem framing and validate assumptions via prototypes, experiments, and targeted customer conversations.
Your Superpowers
  • Execution-Focused Ownership: You take clear responsibility for the health of your product area, tracking metrics and ensuring changes land successfully.
  • Stakeholder Empathy: You represent the perspective of admins and learners in day-to-day decisions, even when working on deeply technical features.
  • Analytical Decision-Making: You are comfortable defining measurable outcomes and using data alongside qualitative input to refine your priorities.
  • Structured Communication: You can explain complex rules and edge cases clearly to Engineering, Support, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • LMS Domain Expertise: You possess deep knowledge of how Courses, Learning Plans, and Certifications are structured and managed within a SaaS ecosystem.
  • Systems Thinking: You care about long-term maintainability and understand how changes in your area impact adjacent features and downstream teams.
  • Agile Collaboration: You thrive in cross-functional squads and are comfortable working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • SaaS Product Experience: You bring 4+ years of experience in product-related or technical roles, with direct exposure to building or supporting digital products.
