Job Summary
The Product Owner will lead product strategy, roadmap, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and Agile delivery for GBD (Group Business Development) applications and healthcare business solutions. The role requires hands-on experience supporting Client's Health GBD applications and will collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, architects, developers, QA, technology, and operations teams to deliver high-impact healthcare solutions. The Product Owner will ensure successful delivery of enhancements, integrations, and new product capabilities while managing competing priorities and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute product vision, roadmap, and business priorities.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with Client's Health stakeholders, SMEs, architects, developers, and QA teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and release planning.
• Ensure successful delivery of enhancements, integrations, and new product capabilities.
• Drive stakeholder communication and manage competing business priorities.
• Monitor product KPIs, adoption metrics, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure seamless product execution.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of Product Owner experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience working on Client's Health GBD applications.
• Strong expertise in product backlog management, user story creation, and prioritization.
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance business processes.
• Experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and release planning.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise healthcare products within Agile frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Member, Provider, Claims, Enrollment, Benefits, and Group Business applications.
• Healthcare digital transformation experience.
• Knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
• Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting Client's Health GBD initiatives.
• Knowledge of member and group insurance platforms.
• Experience working with business stakeholders across multiple healthcare programs.
