Job Summary

We are seeking a QA/Test Engineer to support government and large-scale modernization projects within the analytics and data platforms industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in validating dashboards and ensuring data integrity for critical reporting solutions. The role will focus on data pipelines and Tableau dashboards while collaborating closely with developers, Business Analysts, and BI Engineers throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
• Focus on testing data pipelines and Tableau dashboards.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Validate dashboard functionality, data accuracy, and KPI calculations to ensure alignment with business expectations.
• Perform testing to ensure data integrity across analytics and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, BI Engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, and testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of defects and data-related issues.
• Support testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Validate reporting solutions and ensure critical dashboards meet functional and data quality requirements.
• Contribute to testing and quality assurance activities supporting large-scale modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a QA/Test Engineer supporting data or analytics projects.
• Experience supporting Workers' Compensation systems, claims, or related business operations.
• Experience testing Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Experience testing data pipelines and validating data integrity.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience supporting government or large-scale modernization projects.

• Experience with dashboard validation, KPI calculations, and reporting data quality.
