Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Owner to lead a Scrum team focused on client authentication, digital identity, security, and fraud prevention. The role will support the enhancement and evolution of authentication solutions across web, mobile, web services, voice, and branch channels. The Product Owner will work closely with technology teams, experience designers, security, compliance, risk teams, channel owners, vendors, and other stakeholders to define authentication capabilities and deliver scalable, client-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Build feature, product, and channel roadmaps to articulate and drive group priorities.
• Lead product discovery activities and collaborate with UX, technology, and business partners to design experiments and refine solutions.
• Create and define product stories with clear acceptance criteria based on client needs and work with technology teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers by leveraging product data, existing research, and new studies or experiments.
• Interact with vendors to obtain support for various platforms, coordinate product upgrades, and provide input into vendor product roadmaps.
• Explore, evaluate, and propose technologies and techniques that meet the needs of various channels.
• Identify risks in current and proposed solutions and recommend resolutions, controls, and mitigation strategies.
• Implement and monitor controls and escalate risks or gaps as appropriate.
• Work with technology partners and vendors to develop authentication techniques.
• Partner with channel teams and other product managers to create and implement online identity management and authentication processes and systems.
• Develop easy-to-use and intuitive client authentication experiences.
• Create release plans in coordination with the Scrum team and other lines of business.
• Create reporting on key business indicators (KBIs) and production support metrics and monitor performance.
• Build trusted relationships through clear and consistent communication with stakeholders across upstream and downstream teams.
• Provide first-line support to internal stakeholders, including technology support, account and trading services, and sales teams, to address client questions and resolve escalations.
• Stay current on industry and emerging authentication techniques, experiences, technologies, and systems.
• Support education and awareness initiatives related to authentication techniques and fraud through appropriate content, tools, meetings, presentations, and other channels.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Prior product management experience with online security, authentication, fraud, and/or digital identity.
• Documented experience in Agile product development.
• Experience with user testing and competitive intelligence.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes.
• Strong understanding of client-focused digital experiences and authentication processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technology, security, compliance, risk, UX, business, channel, and vendor teams.
