Full Job Description
THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Immerse yourself in the client experience. Spend time with banks and credit unions, understand their workflows and needs, and synthesize what you learn into clear product direction.

- Translate client and market needs into crisp requirements and partner closely with engineering to ship elegant, impactful products.

- Drive roadmap definition and prioritization alongside product leadership, balancing client needs, business goals, and engineering capacity.

- Contribute to product and market strategy, including competitive analysis and opportunity sizing.

- Operate truly cross-functionally, working equally with engineering and with business development teams across pre- and post-sales.

- Become the go-to expert on ModernFi's product, services, and operational capabilities for clients and colleagues alike.

ABOUT YOU

- A strong analytical toolkit: you are fluent with data and comfortable building your own analyses to answer hard questions.

- The ability and appetite to become technically conversant: you can learn to engage engineers on APIs, integrations, and system design, even if you can't today.

- Exceptional structured thinking and communication: both written and verbal, with the ability to distill complexity for technical and non-technical audiences alike.

- Deep curiosity about clients: you want to understand how they work, what they need, and why.

- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

- High level of empathy, integrity, and calmness under pressure.

- Prior product experience is not required. We value judgment, drive, and the ability to learn quickly over titles.

- Interest in financial systems and the opportunity to work on meaningful problems with real-world impact.
