Title: Product Line Manager - Healthcare

Department: Commercial

Reports to: Director of Commercial Operations

Location: Grand Rapids, MI, Park Ridge, IL (Chicago) or Hebron, OH (Columbus)

Job Summary
The Healthcare Product Line Manager will be accountable for supporting top and bottom-line growth across North America for the rapidly growing Healthcare business unit. This position will play a key role in implementing commercial and product line strategies, coordinating pricing actions, and aligning internal departments to accomplish business goals.

This is a commercially oriented Product Management role that combines product-line management, pricing discipline, customer support, cross-functional execution, and business performance improvement. As Product Manager, you will be a key member of the Company's Healthcare team, responsible for helping translate strategy into action through pricing execution, project coordination, customer support, and cross-functional follow-through.

Job Duties
  • Partner with the VP of Healthcare to ensure cross functional alignment, accountability, and execution against key performance metrics established by the team and executive leadership.
  • Support development and execution of short- and long-term product line strategies designed to deliver top and bottom-line growth in collaboration with leadership and marketing.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality, Customer Service, Marketing, New Product Development, and Finance to execute customer and product line strategy through key projects, programs, and customer initiatives.

  • Lead pricing execution for the Healthcare product line, including quotations, customer price actions, market adjustments, pricing guidance, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor market conditions, customer trends, and competitive dynamics to recommend pricing and commercial actions that balance revenue growth and profitability.

  • Serve as a key product-line resource for Sales and Customer Service by driving internal action items, resolving customer issues, coordinating cross-functional follow-up, and helping accelerate new business close

  • Manage day-to-day product line activities related to customer demand, inventory, quality concerns, pricing, and operational coordination.

  • Track exceptions, quantify financial impact, and recommend actions to improve business performance, internal processes, and customer experience.
  • Analyze profitability on a monthly basis, identifying and coordinating near-term actions to improve results.
  • Support quarterly forecasting and annual business planning processes by providing product line, pricing, customer, and market input.
  • Manage customer contracting and proposal activities, including drafting, analysis, recommendations, internal coordination, and approval management.
  • Provide monthly reporting on progress against key metrics to executive leadership.
  • Coordinate internal departments to ensure commercial priorities, customer commitments, pricing actions, and strategic initiatives are executed effectively.
  • Support Healthcare product portfolio management, including product positioning, lifecycle management, product rationalization, margin improvement opportunities, and new product commercialization priorities
  • Gather and communicate voice-of-customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market input to help guide pricing, product-line priorities, and new business opportunities
  • Support additional Healthcare business priorities as needed to achieve product line, customer, and company objectives.


Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years as a Product Manager or related commercial, product, pricing, or business management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of flexible packaging manufacturing processes and end markets such as pharmaceutical, medical device, and general healthcare packaging.
  • Strong pricing, financial, and business acumen with the ability to understand business priorities, margin impact, and key financial measures.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive action across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Pricing, Marketing, and NPD.
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate analysis in writing, including presentations, memos, reports, and customer-facing materials.
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities, understand technical concepts, and assess new ideas with internal and external partners.
  • High level of critical thinking with the ability to bring successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and cross-functional problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure, meet deadlines, deliver high-quality results, and manage competing demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with managers, coworkers, customers, and external partners.
