Position SummaryThis position is primarily focused on the technical aspects of product management. The candidate will have a great understanding of the product's technical components and inner workings. They will have a mixture of upstream and downstream work centered on driving the growth of software products.
What You'll Do as a Product Manager - Technical- Uncover and understand Customer needs and use them to develop and refine specifications for future product enhancements. 20%
- Ability to work well with internal and 3rd party development teams. Able to ensure requirements are communicated and fully understood and that execution matches business expectations. 10%
- Develop a strong understanding of how the overall solution and teams works together. 5%
- Lead the charge on helping to coordinate development activities across the different development and IT teams to prepare to go to market. 5%
- Ability to work with the different cross functional teams within the business and help them prepare for their role in supporting the new products and features. 15%
- Work closely with the commercial teams to increase product penetration and utilization through the development of tools, training, and programs that provide a seamless approach to selling value. 10%
- Collaborate with Education, Business Development, and Marketing Communication teams to create and maintain effective collateral, marketing lead campaigns, and sales tools. 10%
- Follow competitors and conduct analysis regularly 5%
- Provide prompt, comprehensive field support regarding application and use of products on an ongoing basis, including technical understanding.10%
- Ability to assist in handling product related questions, security questions, and supporting the technical sales process. 5%
- Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and Customer events. 5%
The Experience, Skills and Abilities NeededRequired:- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or other related field
- 3-5 years of experience working on a product team
- Experience of working with Customers (healthcare users preferred) and software systems
- Experience working with software development teams.
- Experience in business process improvement
- Experience developing training materials for software products
- Demonstrated effective planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proven organizational effectiveness across all related areas that impact assigned product line
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications
Preferred:- Familiarity with networking concepts and hosting solutions for web-based products (Azure and SQL databases)
Other: - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Pay range for this opportunity is $105,000 - $130,000. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
