Position Summary:

This job is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product owners or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products that meet client expectations, including features, security, availability, resiliency, timelines and costs.
  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AWS based products and services (e.g., landing zones, data platforms, developer platforms, cloud-native services).
  • Translate business and customer needs into AWS service offerings that drive adoption, scalability, and value.
  • Prioritize features and improvements using data-driven insights, stakeholder input, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework (Reliability, Security, Cost Optimization, Performance, Sustainability).
  • Act as the voice of the customer for AWS products, ensuring product decisions reflect business needs.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business units, engineering, operations, and compliance.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, usage data, and industry trends to refine product direction.
  • Lead stakeholder communications on product vision, roadmap, and release updates.
  • Partner with engineering, DevOps, and SRE teams to deliver AWS product features on time and within scope.
  • Define and maintain product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee go-to-market activities, adoption campaigns, and internal enablement for AWS services.
  • Coordinate with release and service delivery teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
  • Define and enforce product policies for security, compliance, data residency, and IAM in AWS environments.
  • Partner with FinOps teams to track and optimize AWS costs, ensuring financial accountability.
  • Ensure product delivery meets regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, financial regulations).
  • Maintain alignment with enterprise governance standards while enabling agility.
  • Monitor product performance through KPIs (adoption, cost efficiency, NPS, service uptime).
  • Drive continuous improvement through customer feedback, retrospectives, and emerging AWS capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical product requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and backlog management (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).


Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Product Manager certification.
  • Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
