Full Job Description
About the Role

Supernova is looking for a Product Manager to join our global product organization, building the leading platform for securities-based lending and wealth management technology. Our platform powers some of the largest financial institutions in North America and Europe.

This is a modern product role. You will define problems with precision, work directly with enterprise clients to translate raw feedback into business problem statements, and prototype your own solutions - this role owns prototyping end-to-end, using AI-assisted tooling as a default part of how you research, specify, build, and validate. You'll operate within a global delivery model, collaborating daily with product and engineering colleagues across our Chicago and international teams.

Responsibilities

Problem Definition & Discovery

  • Translate raw client feedback, support signals, and market inputs into structured, well-scoped problem statements - you write problems worth solving, not feature requests
  • Work directly with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements; run client-facing discovery sessions and product demos with confidence
  • Identify and evaluate new features and enhancements against Supernova's platform strategy to drive measurable business value

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Own the solution end-to-end, from problem statement to development-ready package: you design and build interactive prototypes and UI mockups yourself using AI-assisted tooling - prototyping is not delegated - and validate them with clients and internal stakeholders before development begins
  • Author complete specifications covering edge cases, error states, configuration defaults, and system-accurate details - your prototype and your spec together reduce clarification cycles with global engineering teams
  • Drive initiatives through Supernova's product development lifecycle, including structured quality gates, solution readbacks, and release governance under a single-version platform model
  • Manage competing priorities across business leaders, engineers, partners, and end users by making thoughtful trade-offs and communicating them clearly

AI-Native Ways of Working

  • Use AI tooling daily to accelerate research, requirements authoring, analysis, prototyping, and client communication - and continuously improve how the product team works with these tools
  • Contribute to the team's AI enablement practices: shared skills, prompts, and workflows that raise the productivity floor for the whole product organization

Platform & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Manage your area of the product roadmap by understanding how the platform makes internal and external customers more effective in executing their strategy
  • Collaborate with other product managers and leaders to synthesize complex requirements into value-added platform initiatives
  • Evangelize and drive adoption of platform-level capabilities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Build recognized expertise in your domain, both internally and with industry partners

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B SaaS
  • Demonstrated success working with engineering teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch enterprise software products
  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools across the full product workflow - market and client research, prototyping and UI mockups, requirements drafting, acceptance criteria, and test case generation. You should be able to show us how you work, not just tell us
  • Success managing client-facing interactions and product demos
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prioritize and make difficult trade-off decisions while delivering on a roadmap
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Financial services domain experience - wealth management, lending, banking, or capital markets preferred
  • Experience working in regulated environments where requirements carry compliance implications preferred
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering or product teams across time zones preferred
