Position SummaryAs a Product Manager you will develop and execute a clear strategic vision for the Life Sciences VHP (Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide) product line, translating market insights into actionable product and growth strategies. You will own the full product lifecycle, including new product development, market expansion, and portfolio optimization.
In this role you will lead market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and growth opportunities within the life sciences sector. As a Product Manager you will partner cross-functionally with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions that meet global customer requirements.
You will drive product marketing initiatives, including positioning, messaging, and promotional campaigns, while equipping global sales teams with the tools and support needed to succeed. In this role you will be accountable for achieving global revenue targets, gross margin objectives, and overall marketing performance for the VHP portfolio.
This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Corporate HQ, 2 days per week.
What You'll do as a Product ManagerNew Product Development- Determine market needs, develop business plans and strategic objectives, create product specifications and determine product positioning, utilizing various market research methods.
- Develop business case for new product development projects and present them to business leader to gain support and approval.
- Participate in cross-functional, new product development teams.
Sales Objectives- Create the five year global product road map reflecting new product introduction timing, projected sales and investment required.
- Manage product line profitability. Monitor monthly revenue and gross margin performance and manage product line to achieve annual financial goals. Develop and implement pricing strategies, champions product line cost reduction initiatives.
- Gather and analyze information on competitive product offerings and technologies, determine competitive strategies and tactics and communicate the information to field sales.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to determine trends and market share.
- Develop and deliver sales training programs that allow for easy assimilation of product knowledge, enhance sales skills and increase knowledge of competitive product positioning.
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications to create and maintain effective marketing collaterals, advertising campaigns and sales tools.
- Develop creative, winning sales and customer promotional incentives to support sales and marketing objectives.
Customer Interaction- Regularly interact with customers through site visits, showroom presentations, professional societies and tradeshow activities.
- Provide prompt, comprehensive field support regarding application and use of products on a daily basis.
Quality Control - Participate on relevant standards committees and help to ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor quality indicators and warranty costs and drive continuous product and process improvement.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities NeededRequired:- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 4 years experience in marketing and/or product management, preferrably in a capital environment.
Preferred:- Experience in the Life Sciences industry preferred
- Masters degree preferred
Other:- Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiation, analytical and project management skills
- High degree of technical aptitude and multi-tasking capability
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, with track record of successfully motivating cross functional teams
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Pay range for this opportunity is $107,525.00 - $120,000.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
