JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop and implement product roadmaps and strategies for merchant services payment solutions, focusing on transaction fraud monitoring, collections tools, and related enhancements. Lead product onboarding, process improvements, and agile development for fraud detection, rules management, case management, and collections capabilities. Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and clients to inform product development, ensuring alignment with industry trends, regulatory changes, and merchant needs. Design, configure, and maintain transaction fraud monitoring systems and collections workflows, including ACH payments, settlement, merchant funding processes, and compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations. Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defining test requirements, preparing test cases, facilitating testing activities, and ensuring successful validation of product features prior to launch. Extract, analyze, and visualize data, identify trends, and support decision-making for fraud and collections products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (risk, compliance, sales, operations, engineering) and external vendors to deliver product features, ensure regulatory compliance, and support go-to-market strategies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and risk metrics, prepare reports for senior management, and drive continuous improvement in fraud detection and collections outcomes. Provide training, mentorship, and support to team members and merchants, integrating customer feedback to enhance product offerings. Responsible for product budgets, vendor relationships, and change management initiatives related to product launches and process updates. Identify, escalate, and resolve issues to maintain a positive merchant and client experience. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for internal meetings and trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Systems Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Business, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Product Owner, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Business, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Product Owner, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: product management, product strategy and product ownership within the financial services, payments, fraud or risk management domain; using SQL to analyze large datasets and derive insights for leadership reporting and operational outcomes. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: working within payments, financial services or merchant platforms including fraud, risk, collection or funding processes; supporting payment products related to merchant risk, transaction monitoring and processing, funding, and settlement operations; working with enterprise platforms and API and Event driven architecture; oracle data management concepts, including data warehousing, data governance, and enterprise data architectures; collaborating with UX/UI design teams and using tools including figma to build prototypes and participate in design reviews; managing product backlogs, prioritization, and delivery using JIRA and Confluence in an Agile methodology.  

Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for internal meetings and trainings.
