JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Oversee the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for enterprise data products supporting transaction intelligence use cases. Serve as the product and data owner for governed transaction data products, translating business priorities, regulatory requirements, and analytical needs into product specifications and delivery plans. Define product success metrics, adoption indicators, and business outcomes to ensure data products improve productivity, decision quality, and regulatory confidence. Lead cross-functional execution by coordinating with engineering, architecture, data management, risk, compliance, and platform teams to deliver scalable and reusable data products aligned to enterprise standards. Establish operating models for data products, including intake prioritization, roadmap governance, release planning, and stakeholder alignment across multiple lines of business. Drive and manage the product backlog and develop strategies to consolidate fragmented data sources into consumable data products focused on usability, trust, and reusability. Define data product structures, including schemas, metadata, access patterns, and documentation that support self-service analytics and AI use. Collaborate with data governance, legal, and risk teams to ensure data products meet regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements by embedding controls and quality expectations into product definitions. Enable enterprise adoption through onboarding, documentation, training, and feedback mechanisms for analysts, data scientists, and business users. Evolve data products using usage insights, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics to drive iterative improvement and prioritization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Data Domain Architect, Data Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Data Domain Architect, Data Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years experience with the following: Maintaining enterprise data product and data platform roadmaps using Confluence; Aligning business objectives, regulatory needs, and analytics use cases into data product development strategies using Agile, Scrum, and Jira; Driving the data product lifecycle to build minimum viable products and achieve product-market fit; Managing trade-offs to deliver customer value using prioritization frameworks; Driving product discovery and collaboration using white-boarding tools including Lucid; Defining objective key results, key performance indicators, and adoption metrics for data products and platforms using Tableau; Redefining data product models using data modeling concepts including canonical, semantic, and dimensional; Applying data modeling tools including Erwin and Hackolade; Translating business requirements into data product requirements and use cases by developing product requirement documents; Building and maintaining iterations for data product prototypes using relational database tools including Snowflake; Building data product features by performing data exploration, validation, and data analysis using SQL and Python; Building and maintaining business and technical metadata for data products using open data standards including DCAT; Testing data product quality in development and production environments using cloud-based tools including AWS; Maintaining versioning across all product artifacts using GitHub; Building data contracts that translate regulatory requirements into standardized protocols for quality, lineage, and access control.
