About the role and team

Product at Uber means making big decisions without perfect information-and owning the outcomes. As a Product Manager II, you will turn complexity into clarity at speed, navigate competing priorities, and lead through influence, not control. This role is about solving what is hard to shape the future of movement.

You will navigate the messy reality of marketplace mechanics where the path forward is rarely predefined. We need leaders who move with urgency and stay resilient when faced with high-stakes ambiguity. Rate of Pay: $161,000 to $197,000 per Year

What you'll do
  • Work with partner PM to define a joint product vision for the Moto team and identify short, medium, and long term initiatives to build product roadmap spanning all trip categories.
  • Translate user needs and insights into product requirements by distilling user problems, writing hypotheses, and describing desired outcomes. Lead a cross-functional team to make a reality.
  • Represent the global experience by understanding the differences between different regions and partner with local teams to make those solutions a part of the roadmap.
  • Build and foster a strong team culture, focusing on execution and results.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results to a spectrum of audiences, ranging from internal partner teams to our users.
  • May telecommute.

Basic Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, Operations or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Position requires:
    • Data Extraction, manipulation, analysis, and insights using SQL, geospatial and geo-fencing software, and deep marketplace expertise and tooling;
    • Regulatory and compliance, process optimization, including JIRA and Asana;
    • Fleet management, customer support, tech and systems troubleshooting, specifically utilizing Grafana;
    • Understanding of statistical experimentation set ups such as longitudinal and A/B testing design to derive business decisions utilizing SQL, Google Sheets, and visualization of data from these experiments;
    • Management of marketplace forecasts/projections;
      Product troubleshooting and diagnostics utilizing Figma, funnel testing, and product quality assurance;
    • Working across multiple teams and managing stakeholders.
