Job Overview
The Product Management team is looking for aProduct Manager to lead the roadmap and success of Relativitys document conversion and enrichment technology to drive efficiency in litigation review. These areas of the product are responsible for many enrichments in Processing, Imaging, PDF Production/App and drive many document transformations for review.Job Description and Requirements
In this role, you will:
Drive short- and long-term roadmapofdocumentconversion andenrichment teamsby working closelywithboth internal and externalendusers,engineering,enablement,salesteamsand other customer-focused teams.
Work with otherdata enrichmentproduct managers and stakeholders to createcohesive, intuitiveenrichment architecture neededto improveuser experience ofprocessingand otherenrichmentconsumers in the product.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to increaseadoptionofdocument conversion technologyand create artifacts that articulatebenefitsof document conversion and enrichment.
Ensure customers have successful experiences by helping Relativity enablement teams and acting with urgency to address any barriers to adoption.
Role Responsibilities
Customer Centric:
Connect withexternalandinternal customersto gain a deep understanding of their workflows and needs andvalidateour approach to addressing them.
Ensure we are solving the most pressing problems of our customers. The ability to prioritize tasks based on their impact and outcomes is crucial to be successful in this role.
Speakto internal stakeholders including engineering, user researchers, and designersabout the variety of workflows and end user needs we see across segments and personas.
Provide product andworkflowsrecommendations grounded in both customer empathy and customer data.
Communicate our user needs toengineeringteams and other internal stakeholders to drive alignment internally on product vision.
Conductuser and competitive research for their product(s)
Product Leadership:
Possess an in-depth understanding of our product suite.Speak about our production from a business and technical approach in a way that internal stakeholders and clients can understand.
Own the product roadmap and backlog for your product(s).Listen to different internal experts to understand the impact, butinthe end decide the features that your team should build.
Workdirectly withProductLeads to help build astrategy and goals for their product(s).
Track andreportson key product metrics that are relevant to your domain and expected outcomes.
Act as a leader,facilitatingcommunication across internal stakeholders and effectively communicate why and gain buy-in from the team and Leadership.Beresponsible forclarifying and resolving conflicts around your product vision.
Technical Leadership
Work closely with your Engineering counterparts to ensure that the team deliversa product that meets our scalability, reliability, usability, observability,efficiencyand performance standards.
Be well versed in technical aspects of cloud platform architecture with deeper technical understanding to communicate with development team members and make informed decisions aboutthe productdevelopment.
Possess the technical acumen needed to understand the technical challenges faced by the team, the root cause ofincidentsand propose effective solutions for them.
Engage indeep technical discussions with Engineering Managers and Technical Architects to understand the implications that future work could have on your product and customers.
Product Implementation
Break down large projects into iterative releases. Create and share product implementation plans with measurable results for each milestone.
Anticipate the need to create alignment with cross-functional teams to solve problems together.
Help theteam totranslate validated designs and analysis into story cards with acceptance criteria.
Develop external and internal facing go-to-market content including product documentation and release notes.
Preferredqualifications:
Proven experience in product management for developer-facing platform products, preferably spanning native libraries, distributed messaging systems,andworkflow orchestration infrastructure.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile
Familiarity and comfort with data,includingabilityto use data to analyze andmonitorproduct health, set goals, back up assumptions, and track success.
Excited and curious abouthighly complexproblems, systems, and interactions
A team player with proven ability tovalidatesolutions and deliver features frominceptionto delivery
You focus on the details, but focus your strategy on the big picture objectives
Excellent communicator and presenter, both written and verbal
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of experience in product management building custom software
Bachelors degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Design or comparable work experience.
Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is betweenfollowing values:
$115,000 and $173,000The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidates depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
