Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management, or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI/ML).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Understanding of large-scale data infrastructure (data warehousing, data lakes, distributed query engines, metadata/catalog systems) and modern AI/ML systems (LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic frameworks, and evaluation pipelines).
  • Solid understanding of data governance, privacy-by-design principles, and compliance in complex enterprise data environments.
  • Track record of architecting, launching, and scaling mission-critical, high-availability platform services at massive scale.
  • Demonstrated success leading the end-to-end product lifecycle for technical platform products in fast-paced, high-iteration environments.
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams and executive leadership.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager, you will drive foundational data and AI infrastructure across Google. You will join the AI Foundations Product organization, which builds the core data platforms, knowledge systems, tools, and services powering AI/ML innovation, developer productivity, and next-generation intelligent applications across Google.

In this role, you will lead critical product initiatives across foundational data management, knowledge platforms, and AI data systems. Your leadership will enable engineering, research, and product teams across Google to securely, reliably, and efficiently build, evaluate, and scale generative AI and agentic capabilities at an unprecedented global scale.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) 15% bonus target equity benefits

  • Build out and operationalize the necessary frameworks and analytics to ensure each journey improves the velocity and precision of Google's data insights.
  • Define and deliver an outlook and strategy for this space. Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the agentic data space.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and integration.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including engineers, analysts, executives, and internal product partners.
