Job Description

The Product Manager2is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championingthe customerexperience evolution through data-driven insights using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs. They supportkeypricing capabilities, functionality, and programs across Nordstrom, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

The role involves planning themarkdownand base retail product roadmaps, prioritizing the backlog, leading product discovery and backlog refinement, and measuring and communicating results of the features delivered to production. The Product Manager 2 ensures stakeholder alignment through strong cross-functional relationships and effective communication.

A day in the life… 

 

  • Develop and drive strategic vision of workstream in support of business goals 

  • Measure and monitor key KPI performance for product epics and specific features 

  • Define, measure, and monitor KPIs, objectives, and key results 

  • Drive projects forward with a sense of urgency, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products 

  • Balance technical feasibility with user experience to deliver products that delight our customers 

  • Prioritize features and develop quarterly priorities and annual backlog 

  • Advocate for the development of simple, user-friendly solutions that address complex business challenges 

  • Partner with UX, Program Management, and Engineering on feature design 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and interoperability between systems 

  • Mentor junior Product Managers within the organization

  • Bachelors’ degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline (preferred)

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders,including Analytics, Engineering, User Experience

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling to effectively convey complex ideas and inspire action across diverse audiences

Pay Range Details


The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$121,500.00 - $188,500.00 Annual
