We are looking for a
Product Line Manager - Emergency Power Systems to work onsite at our Rockford, IL facility. In this individual contributor role you will be accountable for the overall lifecycle, from development to production to long-term performance, of the batteries, Ram Air Turbines and associated accessories within the Emergency Power Systems product line at Collins Aerospace Electric Power Systems business. You will be responsible for the strategy, the financial performance, and the customer outcomes tied to the products. You will also own the product roadmap, balance cost, schedule, and performance, own competitiveness and capacity decisions, and serve as the leader of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) accountable for managing the cost, schedule, performance and on-time delivery of our products.
What You Will Do- Accountable for all customer commitments including deliveries and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage changes to the product(s) in the product line or family.
- Collaborate across the product lines in EPS to support multiple customers or potential customers for the products and services provided by EPS.
- Regularly influence and negotiate to achieve and/or exceed commitments.
- Lead complex teams with some matrixed responsibilities.
- Accountable for key financial and product performance metrics for the products
- Lead decision making for the IPTs and apply critical thinking where incomplete data exists.
- Develop networks and communicate vision to IPT and stakeholders within and outside of the function.
- Plan, direct, and monitor collateral budget.
- Provide inputs to the Strategic and Financial Plan (SFP) for their product scope.
- Travel 10 - 15%, domestic and international, as required by the business.
Qualifications You Must Have - Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
- Program, Project or product management experience.

Qualifications We Prefer - Experience with program management systems including manpower planning, program scheduling, cost controls and earned value management
- Experience in operations and production flow management including supply chain oversight
- Experience with proposal preparation and customer negotiations preparation
- Knowledge of aerospace policies, contracts, procedures and system requirements including quality, manufacturing and program management

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
