Job Duties:- Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP) employing knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties.
- Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills to support Cadence products in the Digital and Signoff team.
- Track and debug customer issues and work with Research and Development (R&D) and release team on issue resolution.
- Run design benchmarks and develop flows and solutions.
- Create and test new functions and enhancement for existing products.
- Create training materials related to new releases and perform technical training for internal application engineers and customers.
- Some telecommuting permitted.
Qualifications: - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Digital design implementation, including physical design using Innovus for developing and testing new features and customer engagement
- Unix and script languages, including tcl, Perl, Python and Innovus or Genus user interface development for customer CAD flow setup
- EDA physical design tools, including Genus and Innovus for key customer benchmarks
- Utilize statistical timing analysis for customer reported issues maintenance
- Logic analysis for netlist or RTL quality check and NEQ
- Power analysis using signoff tool
The annual salary range for California is $134,740 to $188,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
