Full Job Description
Job Summary The Sr. Product Developer will manage the day-to-day deliverables related to factory sample timelines, costing, sample tracking & systems data entry and assist with front-to-back quality control. This position will work directly with internal functions: Design, Merchandising and Production. Position Overview: Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Interact with overseas vendors and various departments to build sustainable business relationships. • Maintain Development Time and Action calendar. • Review seasonal AUC targets with Merchandising. • Work with vendors on initial proto/flash costing and report to Merchandising any costs that do not fall within the AUC targets. • Enter and “land” initial costs into excel cost log. • Ensure development milestones are adhered to based on corporate calendar. • Monitor sample deliveries and ensure PLM is updated with current X-Factory. • Partner with Design to source fabric and trims. • Track style information in PLM to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Work with tech designers, pattern makers and designers to issue fit and construction comment in a timely manner (target 48 hours from receipt of samples). • Approve sample invoices • Consolidate sample raw material liabilities. Pay is based on multiple factors, such as qualifications/skills/experience, geography, and state and local wage laws. In addition, bonus and/or commission and benefits including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and product discounts may be offered.
