Purpose

Contribute to the overall success of the Corporate & Commercial Banking business lines globally by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with regulations, internal policies and procedures.

The Product Designer is responsible for continuous and early delivery of business value. They will play a key role in every part of the design process for the bank's online business banking platforms, from research, to conception, to UI/UX, to testing.

In collaboration with the agile team, the Product Designer will be engaged throughout the different phases of the product lifecycle and will actively evolve the product roadmap. The Product Designer will be expected to represent the voice of the customer, enable peers, and tirelessly advocate for the vision and customer experience they've been entrusted with.

What you bring

Education
- Bachelor's degree in design, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in digital product environments.
- Bachelor's degree in design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to communicate your designs to stakeholders and other designers
- Experience working in agile teams and familiarity with product development cycles.
- Exposure to the banking or financial services industry is an asset.
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, MURAL, and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams (Spanish fluency is a strong asset).
- Interest in data-informed design and continuous improvement.
- Keen interest in advocating for design to the rest of the organization
- Multilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Functional Skills

- Produce compelling designs to illustrate concepts iteratively through sketches, site maps, conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, high fidelity mock-ups and prototypes.
- Usage of industry-standard tools for design and prototyping (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite etc.)
- Envision multiple alternative patterns and options to solve a single design problem.
- Hold the product output to a high standard.
- Keep up and experiment with new design trends.
- Be open to feedback as an important aspect of getting to your best work.
- Provide detailed specifications for software developers.
- Advocate for accessible design principles and implementation.
- Be able tp communicate your designs to stakeholders and other designers
