What you will do- Analyze complex data sets to identify areas of opportunities, formulate actionable recommendations, and test these insights
- Present analysis and recommendations to Exec leadership and work with product teams to rapidly execute and iterate based on feedback
- Lead experimentation from designing tests to analyzing results that lead to product launch decisions
- Partner with product, data science, and operations leadership to influence the direction of the product with the goal of improving user experience and/or profitability of the business
- Track the performance of the business and help stakeholders shift in business trends
- Support ad-hoc analytical projects based on Turo strategic priorities
- Establish data specifications, build ETL pipelines, and assess the impact of new product releases and policy changes on the platform
Your profile- Will consider college graduate, in product/data analytics, data science, business intelligence, or strategy consulting; experience in consumer tech, marketplaces or e-commerce a strong plus
- Top notch quantitative skills; strong proficiency in conducting detailed data analysis and using metrics to drive business results
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases; experience with BI & visualization tools is a strong plus (i.e. DOMO, Tableau)
- Experience transforming data into presentations that "tell the story" behind the data
- Comfortable working with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Must be intellectually curious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Experience designing and executing AB tests is a strong plus
- Must have strong communication skills and have the ability to articulate complex insights
- Thrive working in a collaborative environment and have experience working cross-functionally
- Must have a positive attitude, high integrity, and strong work ethic
For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $124,000 - $155,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
