About Your Role

In your role as a Product Analyst, you will play an integral role on our Product Team by analyzing complex business problems and then designing, documenting and presenting solutions. The Product Analyst will identify potential areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to improve product performance, user experience, and overall business outcomes. In addition, the Product Analyst will perform data retrieval and statistical techniques to improve product performance, evaluate the potential impact of new features, and make data-driven recommendations for the product roadmap's development.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Participate in requirement gathering sessions and customer discoveries to understand the real business challenges and requirements.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria to present to the Development Team on a weekly basis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for user stories and their acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with the UX team to generate mock-ups needed for stories involving UI/UX changes and new features.
  • Pull in cross-functional resources and help facilitate design sessions and user testing as needed.
  • Break down epics into stories and create story maps which detail sprint prioritization and dependencies.
  • Work with Product Managers in translating epics into user stories to design a solution to address the real needs of stakeholders.
  • Lead the story breakdown process, including the Story Review and Story Time meetings to explain requirements to the Development Team and facilitate story sizing/estimation.
  • Maintain a groomed backlog of stories prioritized according to their business value and technical effort.
  • Participate in daily/weekly Agile Scrum ceremonies and meetings such as Daily Standup, Scrum of Scrums, and other meetings scheduled to manage sprint delivery.
Experience You Bring
  • Experience planning and creating user stories for a consumer-facing and/or SaaS product.
  • Experience generating UI mockups or working closely with a UI/UX team to generate a visual representation of new features.
  • Experience with agile software management tools (JIRA, VersionOne, etc.).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability and desire to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Prior experience with healthcare-related products and UI/UX design is a plus
  • 1-3 years' experience as a Product Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role, within an agile scrum team
  • Bachelor's degree
