Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Procurement Quality Engineering Manager to lead a Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team based at the RMS Orlando, FL site. This position requires up to 30% travel out of the assigned geographical area to support SQEs, suppliers and customers across the United States and International locations. The position will require working flexible hours. The Procurement Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for the overall quality health and compliance of the key suppliers deliveries and services. This position is accountable for the deployment of best practices and assurance of consistency for supplier selection, management of supplier risk, proactive supplier audits, establishing appropriate monitoring tools and metrics (scorecards) to ensure that products continue to meet or exceed acceptable performance thresholds in our ongoing drive towards zero defects within the RMS supply chain.
THE WORK
This position is instrumental in developing organizational and strategic plans. This individual will manage execution and mitigation activities on key programs within Training Logistics Solution (TLS) Line Of Business (LOB).
It will require an individual who has demonstrated the leadership capability to manage a team of SQEs. Additionally, they will also serve as the leader communicating with internal cross-functional teams (i.e. Supply Chain & Operations) supporting the market segments, as well as external suppliers and customers.
Duties include:
1. Ensure SQA strategies for design, production, deployment installation and sustainment are executed, while training requirements are met.
2. This position plays a critical role for new or existing suppliers by providing key risk analysis for subcontract reviews, TKOs, RBATs, design/technical solution/baseline reviews, production and life-cycle support.
3. Manage and support RFP activity, strategic supplier selection decisions, flow-down and acceptance plans to ensure alignment with requirements. Key participation in leading and approving proposal pre-work and post award execution.
4. Drive standardization to assure compliant QMS, Special Processes, Capabilities and Capacity in supply chain to meet requirements. Develop, train, and promote bench strength.
5. Serve as the lead, LM point of contact to the Program IPT identifying and mitigating supplier risks, leading RCAs and providing creative solutions to problems.
6. Partnering with Program Managers (PMs) and senior management to ensure Quality resources and support are established and maintained on specific efforts

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO-9001, AS9102
- Understanding of Testing Systems
- Experience leading a team consisting of technical individuals with diverse backgrounds
- Procurement/Supplier Quality Engineering experience
- Program, Operations, or Quality experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform as Full Spectrum Leader
-Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $117,200 - $206,770. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $134,900 - $233,680. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
