Description

Processing Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Processing Manager the Process Engineer is responsible for development of advanced assembly processes for new projects.
  • The Processor will develop a process based on customer requirements including system layout, cycle time study and process flow.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Estimating Team to ensure accuracy of Processes and related documents.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programs to create Processes and supporting documents.
  • Any other duties assigned by Manager as needed.


Requirements

Education/Skills Required:
  • 5 + years of experience in Advanced Processing of automotive assembly machinery and tooling.
  • Ability to calculate cycle time utilizing industry standard timing.
  • Familiar with MIG weld and Spot weld process preferred.
  • Ability to create system layout utilizing AutoCAD, preferred by not required.
  • Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience in mechanical or machinery design preferred but not required.
