Process Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role you will develop expertise in research and application of thermal spray coatings for thermal, wear and corrosion protection
  • You will align technical parameters with commercial project objectives to achieve desired outcomes
  • Further operate thermal spray equipment and designs/modifies tooling and fixturing for new and improved processes
  • Analyze data and resolves technical challenges to drive product and process development forward
  • Document experiments and maintains operating procedures, safety training and technical instructions
  • Additionally collaborate with customers and teams while contributing to productivity improvements using Lean and Six Sigma


What makes you great

  • You will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Additionally you will have hands-on experience in industrial, automotive or laboratory environments
  • Further strong project management skills with ability to manage tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with thermal spray technologies is preferred
  • Basic programming knowledge such as Python, MATLAB or C, and CAD/tooling experience like SolidWorks or Inventor is preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs. and extended standing or sitting
