OverviewPosition Summary
Provide support to continuously improve manufacturing processes at a chemical facility in Houston Channelview area. Support and foster business policies and objectives, while insuring a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Project Management: Oversee multidisciplinary capital projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, schedule.
Process Optimization: Identify and execute solutions to improve plant throughput, reliability, yield, and energy efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Drive compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate between Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and QA teams to successfully scale and transition new products from bench/pilot stages to full manufacturing.
Documentation & Controls: Maintain engineering models, generate process flow diagrams, track project KPIs, and manage budgets.
Qualifications
Proficiency in simulation/modeling software (e.g., Aspen), AutoCAD, and project tracking tools.
10 to 15 years of combined experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, and project management.
Designing process improvements, developing engineering studies, and managing project lifecycles—from Front-End Loading (FEL) to commissioning and startup.
Education Requirements
B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemical Process, or Industrial Engineering.
