Full Job Description
Objective:
Responsible for driving operational excellence through process optimization, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve cycle times.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work).
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Improve process capability, yield, and first-pass quality.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and control plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, scrap rates, downtime, and productivity metrics.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to implement sustainable improvements
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and layout optimization initiatives.
• Train and coach operators and supervisors on best manufacturing practices and continuous improvement tools.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Principals (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work).
• Demonstrated success implementing measurable process improvements that increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved quality.
• Strong background in root cause analysis, data-driven problem solving, and statistical process control (SPC).
