Job Description:

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Engineering Enhancement
•    Improve existing manufacturing methods to increase productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs.
•    Champion continuous production by driving process improvements in upstream equipment performance and implementing standardized work instructions that promote operational con-sistency and efficiency.
•    Responsible for implementing new technology to reduce line breakage.
•    Responsible for increasing output by 15~20% through new technology, enhancements in cur-rent equipment and operational efficiencies. 
•    Analyze operational data and perform root cause analysis to resolve technical bottlenecks and equipment failures.
•    Oversight of processes and procedures while maintaining optimization of the production line and organization/5S requirements.
•    Assist in troubleshooting in the event of a problem.
•    Presentation of data and reports to senior colleagues and management.
•    Assist and coordinate with respective departments with installation of new equipment.
•    Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure quality, efficiency and productivity remain high and meet developed goals.
•    Supports Production & Maintenance Manager with a variety of tasks.
•    Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees. 
•    Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS re-quirements.
•    Assist in developing capital expenditures (CAPEX) budgets and making determinations for equipment needs to support capacity expansion projects. 
•    Perform any other duties as assigned.

•    Maintenance of Mytex information in a confidential manner.
•    Pursue constant improvement of customer service and professional skills.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Ability to maintain concentration and make data-driven decisions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
•    Professional, well-groomed appearance and attire is advised.
•    Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
•    Ability to wear personal protective equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

This position involves working in both business office and manufacturing plant environments across multiple sites. Protective safety equipment required when on the plant floor.

Potential domestic travel: 5-15%

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

•    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
•    Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing environment.
•    Experience in the automotive plastics or polymer manufacturing environment is preferred.
•    Proficiency in MS Office Applications and quality management software.
•    Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.  Ability to self-manage deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
