Full Job Description
ABOUT THE TEAM

The Strategic Ventures team manages high leverage projects and shapes processes to deliver key capabilities, step-change improvements in system value, and scalable processes. As part of the Ventures team, we're looking for a Process Architect to design, implement, and scale the processes that enable Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Deployments, and partner teams to operate effectively across a variety of complex, cross-functional workflows. You'll be the person who turns ambiguous operational challenges into well-designed, durable processes that the business can rely on and grow into.
ABOUT THE JOB

In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain processes-both entirely new and improvements to existing ones-that solve core cross-functional challenges across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Mission Operations, Finance, Product, and Deployments. Partnering closely with system architects and product managers, you'll develop workflows that operate within and around core business systems, and when necessary, you'll identify and drive the system changes required to unlock execution. Scalability will be top of mind as you architect these solutions, ensuring they can grow with the business and continue delivering value as volume, complexity, and team size increase.

A key part of your work will involve visually documenting business workflows from start to finish, translating intangible tasks into tangible diagrams that teams can rally around. You'll collaborate with business teams to root-cause problems, conceive process-based solutions, and implement them to improve our ability to buy, build, and deploy hardware quickly and correctly. You'll also work alongside Ventures Program Managers to support enterprise-scale programs, and you'll own the handoff of new and improved processes to business teams-making sure they are well-documented, well-understood, and sustainable long after your direct involvement ends.

Finally, you'll pinch hit wherever needed, filling critical gaps to keep the business running smoothly and to ensure your processes take root. This is a fundamental aspect of the role: we do what needs to be done, regardless of job title or listed responsibilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design, implement, and maintain net new and existing processes that solve core cross-functional challenges across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Mission Operations, Finance, Product, and Deployments.
  • Develop processes with System Architects and PMs that work within core business systems to identify and drive system change, unlocking execution of the new/improved business process.
  • Architect processes with scalability in mind, ensuring the solutions you build can grow with the business and continue to deliver value as volume, complexity, and team size increase.
  • Visually document business workflows from start to finish, translating intangible tasks into tangible diagrams.
  • Work closely with business teams to identify and root-cause problems, conceive process-based solutions, and implement them to improve our ability to buy, build, and deploy hardware quickly and correctly.
  • Design and maintain processes with Ventures PMs in support of enterprise scale programs.
  • Own the transition of new and improved processes to the business teams, ensuring they are well-documented, well-understood, and sustainable beyond your direct involvement.
  • Pinch hit where necessary, filling in critical gaps to ensure the business can run smoothly and that your processes take hold. This is a critical aspect of this role; we do what needs to be done regardless of job title or listed responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven track record of high ownership and execution, seeing initiatives through from concept to tactical implementation to durable, self-sustaining operation
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in highly ambiguous environments with little-to-no direction, proactively identifying problems and driving them to resolution without waiting to be told what to do
  • Strong systems thinking skills, with the ability to design end-to-end processes that anticipate edge cases, failure modes, and downstream impacts
  • Background in both qualitative and quantitative analysis, with a clear understanding of how data informs process design and management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences across the organization
  • Experience designing and implementing cross-functional processes that stick, scale, and are adopted by business teams
  • Ability to critically evaluate information and question assumptions to determine what is truly necessary for a given process
  • U.S. Person Status is required as this position needs to access controlled data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience in operations, program management, business process design, or a similar cross-functional role at a high-growth or hardware-focused company
  • Familiarity with core business systems (e.g., ERP, MRP, PLM) and experience driving system changes to enable process improvements
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale programs across functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, or Deployments
  • Proficiency with process mapping and workflow visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, Miro)
  • Demonstrated curiosity and creativity, with a genuine interest in diving deep across a variety of operational domains
  • Comfort operating as a "jack of all trades," flexing across functions and filling critical gaps as needed
  • People-centric approach to problem solving, balancing high ownership with low ego and strong humility
  • Tactical mindset, with a willingness to get into the details rather than solely operating at a strategic level
