What You'll Be Doing

You will be joining CIBC Private Wealth as part of the Wealth Planning Group. Your focus will be on attracting, growing and deepening client relationships within CIBC Private Banking through sound wealth planning and advice.  Your expert knowledge of financial planning, wealth solutions, in coordination with other professionals will help you meet the unique needs of a private wealth client.

You will be a part of a diverse team of HNW planners spanning across the country, but your day to day focus will be in the business working alongside Private Bankers in North GTA and Southern Ontario, to achieve business results.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Client engagement - Support Private Bankers in attracting and earning client business.  Establish and maintain a network of relationships within the delivery network in order to increase consolidation of High Value Client business. Enhance relationships by providing expert financial advice & wealth planning services. Cultivate your network to establish new client relationships and build a culture of collaboration across multiple client offers (One CIBC) so that clients are served by those best able to meet their financial goals
  • Business expertise- Champion CIBC within the community to deepen existing client relationships and develop new ones.  Build CIBC Private Banking market profile through active involvement in the community, with key industry associations, advocates and clients.
  • Leading and mentoring- As a seasoned financial professional, you will support a client-centric management culture with a strong focus on creating value for clients: through an emphasis on a strong advisory focus, sales, risk management and performance orientation, for a team of Private Bankers. Lead efforts in achieving business results and work as one team, supporting them as they make informed choices that benefit both the client and CIBC.

Who You Are

  • You’re a certified professional. You have current accreditation and are in good standing as a Registered Representative (RR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) and have the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF) license.
