The Position
We are seeking aPrivate Investments, Product Launch Analyst for theCapital Formation team withinthe ClientPlatform. Wellington has been investing in private markets for decades and launched its first dedicated private capital fund in 2014. Today, the Private Investment Platform currently manages over $10billionin committed capital across a broad range of private equity and private credit strategies fromlate-stage growthtoearly-stage venture, commercial real estate debt, growth lending, and investment grade private credit, and is one of the fastest growing investment groups within Wellington. The Capital Formation team supports our fundraising and product development efforts, with ownership of the client and product life cycle management.We are looking for a highly organized individualto join our dynamic Capital Formation team. We are seeking a Product Launch Analyst to project manage the launch and lifecycle management of investment vehicles across Private Equity and Private Credit, including commingled funds, separate accounts, and co-investmentSPVs. This role willpartnerclosely with Investment Teams, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Distribution to ensure timely, scalable, and compliant product launches.
This role is ideal for a candidate with strong project management experience and a passion for driving operational excellence across fundraising and fund lifecycle initiatives. You will play a key role in coordinating multi-year business planning, managing product launch timelines, and standardizing reporting processes to ensure seamless execution. Additionally, you will oversee the daily fund operations and ongoing governance for private credit and evergreen funds. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys being at the intersection of strategy, client operations, and execution. Essential Skills
The following essential skills are required for the role:
Project management and execution–The ideal candidate will partner with the Capital Formation team to develop and manage product launch timelines and fundraising calendars. Experience in overseeing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring smooth execution while driving fast-paced initiatives and collaborating across multiple functional groups and platforms is key to success in this role.
Analytical skills –The ideal candidate will utilize data in a succinct way to enable the Capital Formation team to better support multi-year strategic initiatives and align project goals with broader organizational objectives. In addition, the candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail and will have experience standardizing reporting processes and tracking key performance indicators.
Superior collaboration and influencing skills – The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to a highly collaborative team. The Product Launch Analyst will build strong trusting relationships internally with colleagues across the firm. Private Credit and/or Evergreen experience – General experience in fund structuring, oversight management and fund operations of private credit and evergreen products. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for private credit and evergreen funds.
Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to:
Investment Vehicle Launch Execution
Process Excellence & Reporting
Develop and maintain launch plans, timelines, risk trackers, and centralized lifecycle playbooks
Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders
Drive post-launch process improvement, standardization, and best practices as the platform scales
Contribute to KPI tracking, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting
Fund Lifecycle & Platform Management
Oversee ongoing lifecycle management for Private Credit and Evergreen platforms, including capital calls distributions, investor reporting, cash-flow monitoring, and liquidity management
Support structuring new vehicles, including analysis of domiciles, legal wrappers, and offering terms
Contribute to the development of scalable and compliant evergreen fund models
Fundraising & Capital Formation Support
Lead workflows supporting fundraising activities and lifecycle milestones, integrating operational readiness into fundraising timelines
Partner with Capital Formation leadership and Private Investments management on strategic initiatives
Support customization of investment vehicles(e.g.,SMAs and strategic partners)
Qualifications
5–8+ years of relevant experience in private markets, ideally in fund launches, investment operations, product management, strategy, or management consulting within asset management.
Strong familiarity with Private Equity and/or Private Credit vehicles, includingcommingledfunds, SMAs, co-investmentSPVs, and evergreen structures.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple concurrent workstreams with senior stakeholders.
Superior organizational and project management skills, with aresults-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments.
Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving, risk identification, and process optimization.
Strong analytical capabilities, includingproficiencyin Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis and BI/reporting tools preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing and stakeholder communications.
Experience working with external service providers (e.g., legal counsel, fund administrators, custodians) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related fieldrequired; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g.,PMP) a plus.
Ideal Backgrounds
Investment operations,product, or platform roles ata privateequity, private credit, or alternative asset manager.
Management consulting with a focus on financial services or asset management.
