We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the Cybersecurity and Digital Trust team in our Risk Advisory practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Work with the client to plan an engagement strategy, define objectives, and address privacy-related controls risks, and issues
  • Lead the execution of assigned client engagements from start to finish, which includes the engagement planning, directing, and completion of assessments, privacy program implementations, privacy technology implementations, and managed services engagements on time and on-budget
  • Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
  • Apply current knowledge of privacy and data protection trends to issues and other opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in creating Privacy programs and remediation strategies for clients including helping to define, update, maintain, and enhance privacy compliance program requirements for clients
  • Perform activities such as data mapping, data classifications, data privacy impact assessments, etc.
  • Be open to assisting on engagements to develop existing and new skills outside of comfort zone.
  • Collaborate with team members at all levels in the development and marketing of the privacy and data protection solution offering
  • Lead and support business development activities, such as opportunity identification, proposal development, attending industry events and other pursuit activities with prospects and clients
  • Will support non-privacy focused engagements such as IT Audits, IT compliance, cybersecurity assessments, etc.
  • Participate in cybersecurity, technology risk, and privacy assessments and audits against industry standards such as NIST, GDPR, HIPAA/HITECH, PCI, CCPA, and similar state laws.
  • Contribute to the maturation of the Privacy Advisory service line.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor9s degree in relevant field. LLM or JD preferred, MS or MBA a plus
  • One or more of the following certifications required: CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, or other related certifications
  • 10+ years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level
  • Demonstrated experience leading client engagements and managing teams in a professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to contribute to business development, client relationship management, and practice growth initiatives.
  • Deep familiarity with relevant frameworks and privacy-related concerns across industries
  • Experience preparing reports and other deliverables that contain strategy, project, or technical analysis and findings in connection with consulting engagements and communicating those results to the team and client
  • Extensive prior experience in privacy program management, compliance, assessment and audit (can be either as an auditor or experience interacting with auditors)
  • Deep familiarity with marketing technologies, web applications, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly growing, fast-paced interactive, results-based team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both C-level stakeholders as well as mid-level stakeholders
  • Track record developing, scaling and maintaining business relationships and opportunities
  • Experience implementing and sustaining tools such as OneTrust, TrustArc, BigID (or similar) across use cases such as data mapping, data discovery, privacy impact assessments, consent/preference management, cookie compliance, data subject rights, and more
  • Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity assessments, privacy strategies and/or architecture preferred
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, reports, and presentations for client management and technology partners

In California, the salary range for a Senior Manager is $160,000 to $250,000.
