Job Summary
Design 39 Campus offers learning experiences designed with the individual learner in mind to build student capacity for growth mindset necessary to recognize and address real-world issues with confidence and courage. The Candidates for the Principal/Design Facilitator position at Design 39 Campus will have a demonstrable background and experience in the design thinking process with an ability to integrate the use of technology, foster collaborative, supportive relationships with all stakeholders, embrace diversity in the campus culture, and offer equitable learning opportunities to meet the unique needs of all students. The ideal candidate will exercise fairness and inclusion in all aspects of the educational experience for students. Qualified candidates should have the intangible characteristics best described as empathetic, a good listener, forward thinking, compassionate, approachable, and ethical.
The Principal/Design Facilitator, through shared governance, engages staff and all stakeholders as partners and collaborators in elevating education and equity. As instructional leader, the Principal/Design Facilitator collaborates with teachers, monitors learning and engages in feedback to support continuous improvement.
