Full Job Description
As a Principal Talent Acquisition Partner at BMS, you'll play a critical role in executing advanced recruiting strategies for RayzeBio Research and Development, with a footprint primarily based in San Diego, to identify and attract the right talent to help us transform patients' lives. This role combines technology, data-driven recruiting, and human-centric approaches to deliver excellent experiences for candidates and stakeholders. While contributing to strategic goals, this position focuses on implementing predefined strategies, operational plans, and participating in projects led by higher-level leadership. Key Responsibilities Digital Innovation: • Leverage AI tools and data analytics to enhance recruiting strategies while aligning with organizational hiring goals. • Participate in the operational use of dashboards and tools to monitor metrics like time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, sharing insights with leaders where applicable. • Contribute to projects focused on AI and predictive analytics adoption, ensuring technology solutions improve candidate and hiring manager experiences. People Centricity: • Cultivate meaningful and inclusive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders by combining technology with a personal touch. • Participate in cross-functional efforts to integrate people-centric principles into recruitment activities and employee engagement, contributing insights and providing support. • Enhance hiring managers' understanding of digital tools and data-driven solutions to ensure a resilient and agile workforce. • Provide coaching, guidance, and actionable feedback to junior and new members of the Talent Acquisition team, supporting their development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Strategic Impact: • Serve as a recruitment partner to mid- to senior-level business leaders, translating organizational goals into actionable talent acquisition plans. • Execute operational plans and established strategies while supporting the implementation of initiatives led by senior talent leaders. • Stay informed on market trends, industry innovations, and tools to propose actionable improvements, ensuring BMS remains competitive. • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to support cohesive TA processes and outcomes, contributing to workforce planning efforts. • Key contributor to strategic talent acquisition projects and process optimization efforts • Partner with the Total Rewards team to understand compensation structure and develop offers in line with that structure, tailored to attract top talent. • Strategically engage and collaborate with matrix partners including branding, marketing, and talent sourcing teams to develop comprehensive recruitment initiatives that position the organization as an employer of choice and attract top talent. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and influence others to accomplish goals and objectives. Experience • Strong full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a Pharmaceutical or Biotech environment. • Strong understanding of multiple functional RBU areas both internally and externally • Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities across a global organization. • Competence in AI tools, data analytics, and predictive hiring technologies with an ability to adapt quickly to emerging trends. • Proven ability to work independently while supporting broader strategic goals and contributing to process enhancements. Compensation Overview: Remote - United States - US: $145,270 - $176,027 The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown. *Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program. On-site Protocol BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role: Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
