Principal, Strategy and Operations
Deal Strategy and Operations | Global Deal Desk | P50 Individual Contributor
This role builds the strategic execution infrastructure for Global Deal Desk, partnering with leadership to turn strategy into execution through cross-functional initiatives, AI adoption, and organizational efficiency. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, embraces emerging technology, and turns ideas into scalable solutions — someone who asks, “How can we make this better?” and takes ownership of making it happen.
- Lead complex, cross-functional critical initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Identify and prototype practical AI solutions that improve analyst efficiency and commercial effectiveness.
- Develop the AI Skills Marketplace that supports the Deal Desk, serving as a global repository of reusable AI skills, including governance, curation, and adoption.
- Partner with Deal Desk leadership to reduce friction across pricing, contracting, approvals, and commercial processes.
- Build frameworks, playbooks, and operating rhythms that scale beyond individual projects and support executive reporting.
- Maintain visibility and delivery health across the organization's initiative portfolio, keeping every active project well understood, coordinated, and on track, and surfacing risks and dependencies to leadership early.
- Partner with internal and external technical teams to drive implementations and explore new technologies that help Deal Desk scale ahead of the business.
What Makes Someone Successful
- AI-fluent: explores emerging AI capabilities and spots where they can fundamentally improve workflows and decision-making, not just add incremental productivity.
- Gets things done: moves initiatives from idea to implementation, removing obstacles and delivering outcomes rather than status updates.
- Thinks like an owner: takes accountability for results, anticipates issues early, and keeps work moving with minimal oversight.
- Systems thinker: builds repeatable frameworks, operating models, and automation instead of one-off fixes.
- Influences without authority: builds trusted relationships, simplifies complexity, and aligns diverse collaborators around shared outcomes.
- 6–10+ years leading critical initiatives, business transformation, operations, consulting, or program leadership.
- Experience supporting SaaS quote-to-cash, Deal Desk, pricing, contracting, revenue operations, finance, or commercial operations.
- Experience applying generative and agentic AI to solve real business problems.
- Track record driving cross-functional initiatives and building scalable processes, frameworks, or governance models.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
