Why this role

The Product Operations team ensures that we develop the right products to drive our business forward. As business leaders embedded within the Product team, the Product Operations team focuses on identifying, prioritizing, rolling out, and managing the operations of products across our various business lines.

As a Principal, Product Operations, you'll lead a core growth engine of the business. You'll drive strategic initiatives and act as a trusted advisor to leadership. This role combines operational expertise with visionary thinking to lead projects that have a transformative impact on our products and processes. You'll mentor others, influence decision-making at the highest levels, and pioneer new approaches to operational excellence.

What you'll do
  • Strategic partnership leadership - leading optimization strategies with external partners to grow revenue, reduce costs and deliver results for our customers
  • Leverage domain expertise to craft a vision and prioritize a roadmap for a suite of products
  • Influence the development of products that are not just reliable, scalable, and secure, but also create a competitive advantage
  • Proactively coordinate with and align stakeholders, technical leaders, and other product managers, communicating product roadmap and go-to-market plans.
  • Develop, monitor, and synthesize business and adoption metrics, and other relevant indicators for success.
  • Create a feedback loop from customer signals into the product roadmap.
  • Mentor other product experts, setting and maintaining a higher bar for collective product quality
  • Be the champion of the Product Operations function by contributing to hiring and retaining the best contributors.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining frameworks for managing bugs, feature requests, and product lifecycle processes, ensuring clear workflows and prioritization.
  • Provide operational leadership for cross-functional programs spanning multiple teams, managing execution and alignment with strategic organizational outcomes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing training and documentation to support product adoption and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data tools like SQL, Tabeleau, and other platforms, with the ability to leverage data to inform critical decisions and drive impactful outcomes
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, resilience, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, including experience delivering executive-level communications and aligning diverse stakeholder groups
  • Track record of leading cross-functional decision-making to develop, deploy, and scale innovative products

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $141,000 to $184,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.

Location

All Evolve team members must live in one of our approved locations by their first day. We can hire from anywhere in the U.S. except D.C. and Hawaii. Some positions may also have restrictions based on compensation in the following states: California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!
