The Solutions Consultant operates within our SC organization. Working alongside our Account Executives and Customer Success Managers, you will help institutions discover new opportunities with Adobe and realize the value of their digital, creative, and AI ambitions.
You'll build positive relationships with institutional leaders and develop strategic account plans. You will lead executive conversations on AI and transformation, and help customers build lasting impact across staff, students, and services using Adobe!
Across Adobe's Creativity, Productivity and AI portfolio, you will help surface new opportunities, deepen executive engagement and position Adobe at the center of ambitions transformation programs.
Travel requirement: Up to 50% travel to support customer engagements, industry events, and thought leadership programming.
What you'll Do - Partner with Solution Consulting peers to lead discovery and solution mapping on select strategic opportunities, anchoring institutional and pedagogical expertise directly into the Solution Consulting motion
- Support Proof of Value and storytelling engagements on strategic accounts, translating institutional pain into the value narrative AEs bring to economic buyers
- Develop value frameworks and cases that connect Adobe's creative, AI, and document offerings to institutional outcomes, student success, staff productivity, and operational efficiency
- Represent faculty, student, and administrative perspectives in customer engagements and internal strategy discussions
- Partner with CSM, PMM, and Marketing to ensure narratives and GTM messaging reflect actual pedagogical and institutional realities
- Serve as an internal voice on AI adoption across teaching and learning transformation and institutional transformation, helping the team and customers navigate AI forward offerings (CC Pro Plus, Acrobat Studio, Firefly, Acrobat Express) through a pedagogical, strategic, and trust lens
- Partner with the Customer Success organization on engagement approaches for Digital Literacy and Faculty Development, shaping how programming like workshops, institutes, and webinars drives institutional adoption
- Maintain external relationships across the HED thought leadership ecosystem, and academic conferences
What you need to succeed - A decade or more of firsthand experience inside Higher Ed institutions, as faculty, in academic leadership, or in program administration
- Established thought leadership in Higher Ed and digital literacy, evidenced by speaking engagements, keynotes, or published work
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Document Cloud, or comparable ed tech platforms, with capacity to discuss specific product capabilities in customer conversations
- Comfortable being the credible technical and institutional voice in the room with provosts, CIOs, and other senior academic leaders
- Demonstrated ability to translate classroom and institutional realities into technology strategy and product positioning
- Proven ability to build executive relationships and navigate complex organizations
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management, and the ability to work across Sales, Customer success, Solution Consulting, Marketing, and Partners
Skills we'd like to see - Familiarity with Generative AI and AI powered workflows in an academic context
- Experience in Solutions Consulting, or Consulting role

- Your input meaningfully develops how SC, AE, CSM, and PMM teams position Adobe to HED institutions
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $199,700 -- $334,150 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
