Job Description: - Design, develop and test web applications in accordance with established requirements, standards, processes and best practices .
- Build software solutions and participate in production release activities.
- Maintain and proactively monitor production applications and platforms.
- Proactively develop solutions to improve user experience.
- Prepare high quality technical documentation pertaining to business and technical requirements, including writing design documents, test cases and deployment guides.
- Collaborate within an Agile dynamic development environment.
- Research and correct system bugs.
Minimum Requirements: - Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field .
- Two years of experience in web development, web engineering, or software engineering. Employer will accept pre- and post-Master's degree experience; experience must be post-Bachelor's degree .
- In lieu of a Master's degree and two years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive experience in web development, web engineering, or software engineering.
- Work experience to include: 1. Two years of experience in software development using Java. Five years of experience is required for applicants with a Bachelor's degree. 2. HTML and CSS web development. 3. JavaScript and cross-browser Document Object Model (DOM) manipulation. 4. Working with web performance standards. 5. Working with web-based Java applications for systems with multiple concurrent users. 6. Developing maintainable code. 7. Responsive Web Design. 8. Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in a production environment. Any and all experience can be gained concurrently.
- 40 hours/week.
- Salary: $162,750.00 to $194,750.00 per year.
