Overall Purpose: Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans through focused project management, aligning with business objectives to motivate sales teams and drive revenue growth.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Designing and Administering Compensation Plans: Develop, design, and administer comprehensive sales compensation, incentive, and recognition programs that align with strategic goals.
- Implementation and Communication: Manage the implementation of compensation plans, communicate changes, and ensure all stakeholders understand the policies and procedures.
- Performance Analysis and Benchmarking: Analyze compensation plans and competitive data to ensure effectiveness, generate insights, and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with HR, finance, and sales leadership, leading cooperative efforts on project teams and ensuring alignment with business strategies.
- Stakeholder Support and Policy Interpretation: Provide support and consultation to stakeholders, explaining and interpreting sales compensation policies and procedures.
Job Contribution: An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Education/Experience: Bachelor27s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
