What You Will Do- Provide technical support to internal and external customers as it relates to Escapes, Quality Management System Procedures, Regulations and Compliance.
- Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards & customer requirements.
- Provide timely disposition, correction, and closure of nonconforming material as Material Review Board (MRB) member.
- Drive Level 1 Mistake Proofing in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) plans for quality issues.
- Recommend improvements to QMS based on internal and external quality system audit results.
- Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for quality.
- Engage with Engineering, and Operations in Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans reviews to identify potential product and process risks and mitigation actions.
- Mentor other quality engineers on improved inspection methods
- Analyze and present data on site quality issues to upper management/site leadership guiding improvement projects
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Engineering background in an Aerospace setting
- Background in RCCA activity
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the programs/contracts at this site
Qualifications We Prefer- Knowledge and/or experience with FAA regulations
- Experience as AS9100 internal auditor
- Experience with SAP

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
