Role Summary

Lead OCI's strategy and experience at Oracle and industry flagship events, ensuring OCI has a differentiated presence that showcases engineering innovation, strengthens strategic partnerships, and creates high-value engagement with priority customers.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Own OCI strategy for major Oracle and third-party flagship events.
  • Determine where OCI should invest, participate, sponsor, speak, activate, or create adjacent customer experiences.
  • Develop differentiated OCI experiences including executive programs, engineering showcases, technical workshops, customer meetings, partner activations, and hospitality.
  • Partner with other strategic technology partners on joint event opportunities.
  • Coordinate OCI executive participation and high-value customer engagement around flagship events.
  • Develop activation concepts that translate complex OCI technology into compelling experiences.
  • Ensure consistent OCI positioning and storytelling across events.
  • Evaluate event investments based on audience quality, customer engagement, strategic value, and business impact.
  • Identify opportunities to extend flagship-event content and experiences into the OCI Summit portfolio.


Ideal Background

8+ years in experiential marketing, strategic events, integrated marketing, or technology marketing with strong executive and partner-management experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event strategy, integrated marketing, partnerships, or customer engagement.
  • Proven experience developing strategy for major industry conferences, sponsorships, or large-scale brand experiences.
  • Ability to translate business and technology priorities into compelling customer experiences.
  • Strong executive, customer, partner, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing complex event investments, agencies, vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate opportunities and prioritize investments based on strategic and business value.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.
  • Ability to independently lead multiple high-profile programs.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with major technology conferences and industry events.
  • Experience developing joint programs with strategic technology partners.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, AI, enterprise technology, and developer ecosystems.
  • Experience designing executive hospitality and high-touch customer experiences.
  • Experience with sponsorship strategy and contract negotiations.
  • Strong network within the technology event ecosystem.
  • Experience measuring event influence across customer engagement, pipeline, and strategic relationships.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years combined experience with project management, data analysis and direct business experience within a specialized function. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field. PMP / Scrum Master certification. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with functional and technical teams. Experience with building and managing reporting tools to support Programs; such as scorecards and KPI metrics to further drive insights around our program strategy. Demonstrated ability to balance quantitative and qualitative metrics to provide a holistic viewpoint. Expert level experience with Excel, creating dynamic pivot reports and data visualization. Ability to influence through data visualization and interpretation. Must be self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be comfortable working in ambiguous situations. Excellent interpersonal skills. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications.
