Full Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of software-based technical product management experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing and leading teams of product managers.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience building consumer products in e-commerce, personalization products, and building AI-first product experiences at scale.
  • Experience driving strategy, providing detailed technical guidance to the team, and demonstrated thought leadership around setting an ambitious product outlook.
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management and experience communicating with C-level executives.
  • Leadership experience in hiring and developing product managers and coaching a high-performance team.
  • Problem solving skills and technical abilities in areas related to platform infrastructure, data ecosystems, and organizational capabilities.
  • Passion for technology and technical depth to uncover causes of complex technical problems and provide guidance on solving them.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Shopping strategy in collaboration with other senior leaders across the company, identifying key growth opportunities, driving innovation, and providing leadership in identifying and pursuing new partnerships to expand the business.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in retail, including the latest technologies, consumer behavior, and modernizing the architecture through ML and LLMs.
  • Collaborate with other teams across Google, including product, engineering, marketing, legal, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration with the overall business objectives.
  • Inspire engineering teams to innovate, invent, implement, and deploy complex software solutions, while representing Google internally and externally to press, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and grow leadership talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies for key talent in a fast-growth, highly competitive economic environment.
