We are seeking a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead the transformation of the data landscape at LS&Co. You will be responsible for architecting the future of our data ecosystem: unifying fragmented data sources into a single, trusted warehouse and unlocking its power through intuitive reporting, scalable self-service tools, and a vibrant analytical community.

Your work will empower teams across the globe to make smarter, faster decisions and will serve as the foundation for innovation in every corner of the business, from merchandising and marketing to supply chain and sustainability. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully launching and managing data products.

This role blends strategy, design, and execution. You'll partner closely with engineering, analytics, and business leaders to define the roadmap, prioritize investments, and deliver data products that are not only technically sound but deeply impactful. You'll be the champion of data activation-ensuring that insights are accessible, actionable, and aligned to our company's values and goals.

About You
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data platforms, analytics, or enterprise data products.
  • Deep understanding of modern data architectures including cloud data warehouses (GCP preferred), data mesh, and data lake concepts.
  • Experience with data migrations, report rationalization, and KPI standardization across large organizations.
  • Experience with data governance, metadata management, and building scalable self-service analytics environments.
  • Strong track record of driving cross-functional alignment across engineering, analytics, and business teams.
  • Comfortable navigating complex trade-offs and making strategic decisions that balance technical feasibility, user experience, and business impact.
  • Passionate about building analytical communities and fostering a culture of data literacy and empowerment.
  • You can translate technical concepts into business value and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
  • Retail or apparel experience is a bonus, but not required, but curiosity and customer empathy are essential.


This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters or a remote role. If located in San Francisco, CA, you will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $144,800 - $241,200 per year We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
