Full Job Description
Join the team as Twilio's next Product Specialist - Trust, Identity & Compliance About the job This position is needed to architect and validate Twilio's most complex, highest-impact, multi-product opportunities by translating Twilio's portfolio into secure, scalable, and executive-ready architectures. You will operate as the regional technical authority for your specialty, partnering tightly with Generalist Solutions Engineers (SEs) and Account Executives (AEs) while engaging Enterprise Strategists and Value Engineers to accelerate outcomes. You'll also serve as a key bridge between GTM and R&D-codifying repeatable architecture patterns, elevating field capability, and influencing roadmap through formal interlocks. Responsibilities In this role, you'll: - Architect and validate end-to-end, multi-product solutions that fit into customer ecosystems-often across multiple teams, regions, and lines of business. - Lead technical discovery, solution mapping, and validation strategy (workshops, demos, POCs) to remove architectural risk and secure stakeholder alignment. - Scope and validate architectures with emphasis on: - Build and deliver exec/architect-ready presentations that communicate tradeoffs, implementation path, and long-term platform vision. - Document customer patterns, technical shifts, and competitive signals; synthesize into actionable product feedback. - Drive influence via Product & R&D interlock, GTM product escalations, and PDLC feedback mechanisms. - Act as a visible thought leader (internal/external) on trust, identity, security, fraud, and compliance trends-shaping Twilio's point of view and technical narrative. Qualifications Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table! *Required: - Demonstrated ability to lead and win complex, multi-stakeholder solutions cycles (discovery 16 architecture 16 validation 16 proposal support). - 7+ years progressive presales experience (solutions engineering, sales engineering, or specialist overlay), including complex solution architecture. - 4+ years depth in at least one trust-related domain (identity verification, authentication, security, fraud/abuse, compliance), including: - Strong executive communication skills: ability to influence C-level and senior technical audiences with crisp architecture narratives and tradeoffs. - Proven ability to build durable cross-functional partnerships (Sales, SE leadership, Product, Engineering, Marketing) and drive outcomes through influence. - Experience capturing and communicating customer requirements and trends to influence product strategy/roadmap. Desired: - Experience operating as a regional technical authority (standard-setting, coaching, asset creation) rather than only deal-by-deal support. - Track record building repeatable architectures/plays that scale across teams. - Experience partnering deeply with Product/PMM on positioning, roadmap feedback, and launch readiness. - Familiarity with adjacent trust capabilities such as encryption/key management concepts, audit logging, incident response, A2P/10DLC considerations, and data residency architectures. - Experience across multiple product areas within a platform/API company; comfort stitching together messaging/voice/contact center/data capabilities into unified solutions.
