Full Job Description
As Principal on the Services Portfolio Strategy & Growth team, you will drive clarity on cross-portfolio strategy and growth: where the portfolio should play, how the services win together, and what it takes to accelerate growth across them. Strategy and execution happen in parallel here; you9ll build the 3-year view and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute.

You will operate as a senior individual contributor with Services-wide reach, working directly with Services leadership and partners across the Intuit ecosystem, including Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Finance.

Responsibilities

Shape the portfolio growth strategy
  • Shape the 3-year growth strategy for the Services portfolio: priority customers, competitive landscape, and where the next horizons of growth come from.
  • Develop the frameworks and choices that clarify tradeoffs for senior leadership: where to invest, where to sequence, where to say no.
  • Identify and champion 9better together9 plays across services (attach, bundling, cross-sell, and shared customer journeys) that no single business would build alone.
  • Develop the fact base that grounds annual and long-range planning, positioning Services at the company level.


Build the fact base that drives decisions
  • Own the analytical foundation for portfolio strategy: how the portfolio grows, what drives it, and where the leverage is.
  • Distill insights from imperfect data into executive-ready narratives.
  • Establish repeatable systems for diagnosing performance and evaluating initiatives, so decisions are data-backed and fast.


Turn strategy into action
  • Move from long-term thinking to short-term unblock: identify the highest-leverage growth actions, drive alignment on them, and land outcomes.
  • Lead priority cross-portfolio initiatives from problem definition through results, mobilizing partner teams across the segment.
  • Anticipate where alignment will break down across businesses and proactively drive resolution.


Create clarity across a complex portfolio
  • Act as connective tissue across the services businesses, surfacing what each is learning, where they overlap, and where the portfolio is leaving growth on the table.
  • Deliver a clear narrative of portfolio strategy and growth opportunities to Services and Intuit senior leadership.
  • Influence with and without authority: build trust with GMs and functional leaders so the portfolio view shapes their choices.


Qualifications

Experience
  • 10+ years in strategy consulting or strategy & business operations in high-growth environments. Top-tier strategy consulting experience strongly preferred. Fintech, payments, and financial services expertise helpful but not required; you9ll come up the curve on the Services businesses quickly, supported by internal experts.


Strategic & Analytical Strength
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving: you can take an ambiguous, multi-business question and turn it into a clear set of choices.
  • Deep analytical fluency: comfortable building the model, pressure-testing the data, and standing behind the number in front of executives.
  • Ability to distill complexity into insight and insight into a compelling story.


Execution & Ownership
  • Track record of moving a business from strategy to action to results, not just producing the deck.
  • Extreme ownership mindset; comfortable operating with urgency, ambiguity, and evolving priorities.


Collaboration & Influence
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across organizations you don9t control.
  • Low ego, high trust: you make the businesses you partner with better, and they want you in the room.


Communication
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication; able to simplify complexity and influence at scale.


AI Fluency
  • Native user of AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesis, and communication.


Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at ). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
The expected base pay range for this position is:
Mountain View $197,000 - $266,000
