Staff Corporate Strategy Associate, Personal Loans Come join Credit Karma's Corporate Strategy team as a Staff Associate embedded in our Personal Loans vertical. You will serve as a thought partner to the General Manager of Personal Loans and their leadership team, leading strategic projects that shape the direction of the business and operationalizing them to move the business forward. You will develop a deep understanding of the personal loans marketplace, including our members, our lending partners, and the competitive and macroeconomic landscape, and use rigorous analysis to develop recommendations and drive decisions with vertical and company leadership. It is essential that you quickly establish rapport, credibility, and trust across Product, Business Development, Marketing, Data Science, Finance and Engineering, and be viewed as a team player. This is an individual contributor role for someone who excels in ambiguity, has a bias toward action, and can independently drive complex, cross-functional work with minimal oversight. The Staff Associate role offers excellent opportunities to: 3 Serve as an influential sounding board to vertical leadership and directly shape the long-term trajectory of a substantial business line 3 Solve highly analytical problems that inform product design, member experience, and overall business performance 3 Gain exposure to and a voice at all levels of management, including Credit Karma and Intuit's executive team 3 Work across a broad set of functions and develop as a general athlete Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: 3 Serve as a thought partner and sounding board to the General Manager of Personal Loans to drive data-driven decisions and a clear, prioritized strategic agenda 3 Structure and lead strategic projects for the vertical, from framing the problem and developing the work plan through analysis, recommendation and executive alignment, and then operationalize them to move the business forward 3 Lead annual and long-range strategic planning for the vertical, and provide an independent perspective on the viability of plans to achieve goals and on resource prioritization and allocation 3 Identify and evaluate growth opportunities for Personal Loans, including leveraging the Credit Karma platform and other verticals, new or expanded lending partnerships, adjacent products, and acquisitions 3 Understand and stay current with the personal lending competitive landscape, lending partner dynamics, and the macroeconomic and credit environment, and translate those insights into implications for the business 3 Serve as the connective tissue of the cross-functional Personal Loans Core Team to enable it to function effectively: 3 Own the forum for discussion of the highest-priority topics and for decision-making 3 Develop cross-functional plans that tie together workstreams and track progress against them 3 Establish and monitor KPIs and operational dashboards to track performance of the business and of key initiatives 3 Drive cross-functional clarity on the root causes of under- and over-performance and the actions to address them 3 Author and deliver presentations, plans and communications grounded in data and insights, and present strategic analyses and recommendations to vertical leadership and Credit Karma and Intuit's leadership 3 Collaborate with Product, Business Development, Marketing, Data Science, Finance and Engineering partners, and leverage data to inform, develop and iterate on business strategy Qualifications Qualifications: 3 6+ years of total work experience, including 2+ years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business operations or a related analytical role (MBA preferred) 3 BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university 3 An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative and analytical approaches, and identify the key drivers of a business 3 Ability to quickly synthesize information and structure a concise, clear point of view for an executive audience; executive presence and the ability to articulate, present and debate recommendations with all levels of management 3 Excels in ambiguous environments; proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects and build processes with minimal guidance and oversight 3 Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, without direct authority 3 Strong project management skills; a proactive, self-starting general athlete with a bias toward action and constant prioritization 3 Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills 3 Prior experience in financial services, consumer lending, payments or financial technology strongly preferred 3 Passion for excellence, a learning mindset, and openness to an environment of active developmental feedback Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
