Principal or Senior Electronic System Engineer
SunMan engineering is looking for an experienced senior electronics engineer to lead product development. This is a leadership position requiring someone who can be the center of technical competence, build and inspire the development team, and impress customers with technical excellence.

Responsibilities
Technical
Defining and developing electronic products
- Architecture design
- System design
- Board level design
- Schematic creation
- Board level timing analysis and simulation
- Manage prototyping
Manage integration of hardware, software and chip into a system
- Strong design background in Analog and Digital Circuits
- Providing technical assistance to customer engineering and production personnel
- Client technical interface
- Component specifications, sourcing and vendor interface
Leadership
- Participate and lead cross functional teams working on product definition and development
- Act as center of technical competence
- Take the lead in selecting vendors and components
- Project management
- Strong documentation skills
Experience Requirements
- Design, development and test including high speed and analog design
- Embedded systems
- Micro controllers
- Digital signal processing
- Mixed signal
- Power management
- Familiar with precise analog layout theory and layout experience
- FPGA design a plus
- Experience in design, test, reliability and production phases
- Firmware development
- Board level design
Designing A to D and D to A Converter circuits
- Strong background in wireless communications, experience with radio interfaces, lower level MAC hardware and wireless PHYS is highly desirable
- 3G/4G Networks (GPRS, EDGE, EVDO, HSDPA, WiFi, WiMesh, WiMax)
- Analog (RF) and digital integration
- Experience with wireless Ethernet designs/standards; for example 802.11 & 802.16
- Understanding of power amplifiers design is a plus
- Strong logic design, board level simulation, verification, timing and power analysis and systems board environment build experience a plus
- Hardware/firmware in the area of wireless communications (Wireless LAN, wireless USB, Bluetooth, Ultra Wide Band) a plus
- At least 5 years experience with the last two years in a leadership role
