Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME, MSME preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in designing Telecom networking products
• Proficient in CREO for mechanical design/modeling and Windchill PLM management
• Design experience with high-powered densely packed circuit packs
• Background in sheet metal chassis, fan tray, pluggable modules, and fiber management
• Skilled in tolerance analyses, shock and vibration testing
• Strong understanding of NEBS, ETSI, and ANSI requirements

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanical and thermal design from product concept to production independently
• Define product features balancing mechanical, electrical, and thermal factors with customer needs
• Research, design, and test mechanical parts for efficient feature integration
• Conduct necessary tolerance, stress, and thermal analyses for design integrity
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to effectively source parts and assemblies
• Manage design verification testing (DVT) for both new and existing projects
• Create comprehensive documentation for designs and facilitate smooth production transition
